Greg Paul/Human Fourishing
Greg is a multi-instrumental, clickity-clack, and turn-the-knobs on the pedals kind of guy. Human Flourishing, Greg’s main project performed with noise-partner Conor Perreault, creates ethereal atmospheres and almost-songs that bubble up from swamps, jump from dungeons, and cascade into sunny fields. Ranging from vocal loop harmonies, to drum machine frenzy, to acoustic performative percussion, Greg resides in the space between song and drone. Greg and Conor hail originally from Windsor, Connecticut but now reside in the best pizza cities in the world, informing their musical cheese and sauce. Greg currently resides in Ridgewood, Queens and is a fringe member of the Ridgewood Ripper Club for Experimental Folks. (New York City NY)
Greg has used his technique of “painting with light” to create live images projected for numerous sound artists using his own system which allows him to create visuals using movement, objects and light. This ability to create images through performance is essential to his concept of live performance through projection. (Lowell MA)
